From the beginning of the project through to concept design and handover, you can be confident that your designer and builder truly understand each other. When should I contact Evolution x Seau?
The sooner you contact us, the better. The longer we have to work together and get to know each other, the greater the opportunity to make recommendations that will benefit you and your project from early on in your building journey.
I’m not sure what our budget is or what we would like to do, can we still talk?
Yes, absolutely! We encourage you to book an appointment to speak with us to see if we are a good fit for your vision. Here we can discuss options and ideas that might work for you and provide examples of past projects.
Is there a typical value range for your projects?
Typically, custom homes range from $750k – $2m and renovations or extensions from $500k.
Does Evolution x Seau have a specific style?
While we draw inspiration from many different sources, we favour minimal, clean lines, the use of quality materials and good craftsmanship, and a strong connection between the indoors and outdoors.
How long does the design and build process typically take?
This depends on the scope and scale of the project. Once we have met and discussed your initial brief, we can then provide a guideline on the timeframe of your project. Typically, the design and approval process takes between 9-12 months for custom homes and renovations or addtions.
How does the pre-start (choosing colours, finishes and fixtures) process work with Evolution x Seau?
Technically, it starts at our first meeting and develops from there. We also offer the services of an interior designer to guide you through the process.
Can I live in my home while it is being renovated or extended?
In many cases, yes; however, it all depends on the nature of the renovation or extension. We create a plan early in the project that outlines the most efficient way to carry out the work with minimum impact on you.
How do you choose which trades will work on my project?
With several members of our team having worked as tradespeople, and our parent company Daly & Shaw having over 35 years of industry experience, we know what makes a good tradesperson and are able to assemble the best team for every job.
